Notes  Moses Kraft, "the eldest, was born on the farm he now possesses, May 23rd, 1833. He is married to Magdalena Hagey. After their marriage they moved on a farm a few miles west of Waterloo where they resided for some time. Some twenty years ago he purchased the old homestead where he has resided ever since. Of late years he invested largely in real estate. He purchased the old "Sherington Farm" adjoining his farm on the north, and a year or so ago he bought the old "Bingeman Farm". He now possesses over 600 acres of land. He is a good farmer and a shrewd business man. He has held the office of councillor and reeve for some years but now devotes his whole time to the managing of his extensive farms. His family consists of eleven children.."
