Notes  Christian Keller, "was born in Switzerland but must have been quite young when he came to America with his parents. We have no record to give exact date of their emigration to this country. So much, however, is known that he came between the years 1763 and 1769. They first settled in Lancaster County, but later moved to York County where he was married to Elizabeth Nissley. He died in 1824, aged 65 years and several months, and had a family of four children, viz:"
