Notes |
Ulrich Geiger, "the second son of old Peter Geiger, was born in Germany, November 22nd, 1797, and came to America with his two brothers and settled in Waterloo County, Ontario, Canada. After his marriage with Barbara Baisiger he settled on a farm near Wilmot Centre where he resided many years. Towards the close of his life he moved near the Blenheim Mennonite Meeting House, on the townline between Wilmot and Blenheim where he died. He was an ordained minister of the Mennonite Church and was considered one of the best pulpit orators of that body in his days. Their family consisted of three children, two sons and one daughter..." |
