Tilman Martin, "the fifth son of Daniel and Veronica (Schneider) Martin, was born December 20th, 1840. He is a farmer and residse in Woolwich Township, about two miles north of St. Jacobs where he possesses three farms. On March 11th, 1862, he was married to Anna, daughter of Benjamin and Mary (Devitt) Martin. She was born March 21st, 1840. Their family consists of nine children, (the youngest five of the family are unmarried and all at home assisting their parents on the large farms they possess).." |
