Notes  John Erb, "was born in Warwick Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in May, 1729, and was married to (from Rev. Benjamin Eby's notes) Anna Erb. They have had a family of several children, one of whom, named Magdalena (Die alt Mollie), was married to Abraham Erb, the founder of the town of Waterloo. She was born March 3rd, 1780, and died July 25th, 1858."
