Notes  Jacob Sitler, "son of Martin and Elizabeth Sitler, was born in Columbus, Ohio, August 2nd, 1817. On November 14th, 1837, he was married to Rachel Clemmer who was born December 15th, 1816. They resided on the farm now in possession of Moses Bearinger where she died April 24th, 1895. He died December 15th, 1857. They had a family of six children, viz:"
