Notes  Josiah S. Stauffer, "the third son of David Stauffer, was born in Butler County, Pennsylvania, December 2nd, 1844, came to Canada in 1848, and was raised in Waterloo County. When about twenty years of age he commenced to work at the tailoring business and now has a well established business at Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. He was twice married, first to Elizabeth Musselman with whom he had four children, namely: Guy, Nina, Laura, and Earl, and after her decease to Anna Musselman. The second union was blessed with one child, a daughter named Sue.
