Notes  Isaac S. Stauffer, "the second son of David Stauffer, was born in Butler County, Pennsylvania, November 2nd, 1842. When six years of age he came to Canada with his parents and was raised in the county of Waterloo. On August 24th, 1862, he was married to Barbara, eldest daughter of Joseph and Veronica (Shantz) Weber. She was born July 20th, 1844. They reside in Peel Township, Wellington County, near Glenallen, where he possesses two beautiful farms. Their family consists of eight children, namely: Zepheniah who is married to Selina, daughter of David Koch of Conestogo, and resides on a farm near Elmira, Ezra, Licinda, Oliver, Lovina who is married to Joseph Ernst, a farmer, and resides in the township of Peel, near village of Glenallen, Ida, Ira, and Harvey."
