Notes  Nelson Stauffer, "was born March 12th, 1870, and was raised in Conestogo where he attended the public school until pretty well up in his "teens," then he went to Elmwood, Ontario, where he learned the saddler trade. After serving his apprenticeship he went to Hamilton, Ontario, where he was engaged in business for some time. At present he resides in Bervie, Bruce County, Ontario, where he is doing a good business. While in Hamilton he was married to Annie Hebner. His family consists of one child named Lilly."
