Jacob Stauffer, "was born August 15th, 1802. He died young."
Joseph Stauffer, "twin brother to Jacob, was born August 15th, 1802. He was married to Rebecca Rosenberger who was born August 16th, 1801. Soon after their marriage they moved two miles west of the town of Waterloo, on the farm now possessed by their son, Levi. Here they resided and enjoyed life until death removed them. He died October 13th, 1880, and she died May 28th, 1882. To them was born a family of five children, viz:" |
