Notes  Daniel Stauffer, "was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, February 20th, 1796. When a young man he came to Canada and settled in Waterloo County, Ontario. In 1818 he was married to Susannah Kinzey who was born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, June 1st, 1798, and came to Canada with her parents in 1800 and died February 11th, 1881. Soon after their marriage they moved on north half of lot No. 5, Biehn's Tract, near Strasburg school house, where he died July 22nd, 1846. To them were born eight children, viz:"
