Notes  John Stauffer, "was born May 3rd, 1813. He was married to Hannah, daughter of Daniel and Barbara (Wismer) Schlichter. She was born April 15th, 1814, and died June 18th, 1890. They resided near Haysville, Ontario, where he was engaged in farming for many years but now lives retired and has his son, Dilman, to work the farm. His family consisted of ten children, viz:"
