Notes  Christian Reichert, "was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, April 17th, 1773. In 1798 he was married to Barbara, youngest daughter of Samuel and Maria (Detweiler) Betzner. She was born July 29th, 1778, and died September 19th, 1874. He died May 8th, 1852. In 1800 he came to Canada and settled at Freeport, Waterloo County, Ontario, where he died May 8th, 1852. His family consisted of eight children, Namely:"
