Notes  Joseph K. Baumann, "the eldest son of Henry B. K. Baumann, was born in Pennsylvania, April 10th, 1814. On March 15th, 1839, he was married to Susan Sechrist. They resided at Berlin, Michigan, where she died July 5th, 1888. He died January 15th, 1890. Their family consisted of five children, viz:"
