Notes  Christian M. Baumann, "the second son of Henry and Mary (Mosser) Baumann, was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, January 26th, 1819, and came to Canada with his parents when six years of age. He was raised in the township of Woolwich where he still resides. He was married to Susannah, daughter of David and Maria (Bechtel) Baumann, February 21st, 1843. Shortly after their marriage they moved on their farm which is composed of part of lot No. 13 German Company's Tract, Woolwich Township, where they resided until her death. She was born in Waterloo, March 2nd, 1822, and died March 6th, 1878. They have had a family of four children,..."
