Notes  David D. Baumann, "the third son of David and Maria (Bechtel) Baumann, was born at Waterloo, March 14th, 1820. On February 6th, 1844, he was married to Anna, daughter of David and Esther (Martin) Musselman. She was born December 26th, 1823. She is still living and has her home with her son Enoch who resides on the old homestead. They resided in Waterloo on his father's farm (now property of Mr. George Moore) until the death of his father in 1850, then they moved to Woolwich Township, about a mile north-west of Conestogo, where he died December 20th, 1876. They had a family of eight children, viz:"
