Notes  Solomon G. Bowman, "the third son of Christian W. Baumann, was born in Woolwich Township in 1842. He resides about two miles from St. Jacobs, on the Heidelberg road, where he is engaged in raising vegetables for the market, also has a small tannery where he is engaged in tanning robes and furs. He is married to Mary Ann, daughter of David and Christina (Hauck) Eby. She was born November 5th, 1845. Their family consists of seven children,.."
