Notes  Moses Baumann, "the eldest son of Benjamin W. Baumann, was born at Bloomingdale August 22nd, 1815. On November 7th, 1843 he was married to Susannah, daughter of Abraham and Rachel (Dierstein) Clemens. She was born in Waterloo County, Ontario, August 23rd, 1821, and died February 19th, 1874. In 1877 he sold his farm to Mr. J. Rellinger and moved to the town of Waterloo where he died suddenly, February 27th, 1887. Their family consisted of nine children, three sons and six daughters. Their names are as follows:"
