Notes  Nancy Bowman, "the eldest, was born August 31st, 1829. She was married twice, first to Joseph Stauffer, and after his decease to Nelson Seips. With her first husband she resided on a farm near Blair. She died at Galt in 1889. Her family consisted of three children, viz: Carrie and Joseph of her first husband, and Nettie of her second husband."
