Notes  Isaac H. Baumann, "the third son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Hoffman) Baumann, was born August 7th, 1830. On February 27th, 1855, he was married to Magdalena, daughter of Jacob E. and Elizabeth (Clemens) Schneider. She was born April 1st, 1832, and died August 8th, 1871. On March 20th, 1879, he married Elizabeth, daughter of Samuel and Susannah (Schantz) Martin. She was born December 2nd, 1832. On March 27th, 1855, he moved on the farm where he still resides (west end of lot No. 27, German Company's Tract), about four miles north-west of Waterloo. His family consists of eight children, viz:"
