Notes  Abraham Martin, "brother to Henry Martin, resided in Earl Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He was married to Barbara Oberholtzer. Their family consisted of several children, but the name of only one has been handed to the writer, namely David who came to Canada in 1820, while his cousin, Peter, came the year before.

We shall first give the family of Peter Martin and his descendants, then that of his cousin, David Martin, and his descendants, and finally the descendants of Abram B., son of Abraham Martin, brother to Peter Martin who settled two miles north of Waterloo."
