Notes  Christian Hallman, "was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, October 25th, 1822. On March 4th, 1845, he was married to Leah Bechtel who was born June 23rd, 1823. After their marriage they resided in Wilmot Township, Waterloo County, where he was engaged as a contractor and builder, and during the winter months in weaving. In the year 1875 they moved to Hanover, Grey County, Ontario, where they now live retired. To them were born eleven children, viz:"
