Notes  John B. Hallman, "was first married to Catharine Thaler and after her decease to Alvina Gingerich. They resided about two miles south-west of Berlin where he died December 22nd, 1882 (He was born July 15th, 1855). His family consisted of two children, namely: Almeda, of the first wife, and Wellington of the second wife."
