Notes  Jacob S. Hallman, "was born June 8th, 1829. On July 12th, 1852, he was married to Mary Clemens (No.1797) who was born September 11th, 1834. They resided about two and one-half miles north of New Dundee, on his father's old homestead until about five years ago when they moved to Berlin where he died December 10th, 1893. His widow still resides in their home which he purchased shortly before his death. To them were born twelve children: viz:"
