Notes  David G. Martin, "son of David and Maria (Guth) Martin, was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, March 13th, 1802, and died June 30th, 1831. He was married in 1826 to Maria, daughter of David Martin who was a second-cousin to David G. Martin's father. She was born April 3rd, 1802, and died June 5th, 1834. They resided on the farm now possessed by Valentine Doerbecker, near St. Jacobs, where they died. Their family consisted of three children, viz:"
