Notes  Joseph Gingerich, "was born March 31st, 1842. On March 29th, 1864, he was married to Elizabeth, daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth (Martin) Good. She was born June 12th, 1840. Soon after their marriage they moved on lot No. 94, German Company's Tract, Woolwich township, about four miles north of Elmira. Here they have resided since. On December 2nd, 1867, he was ordained minister of the Mennonite body which position he has held ever since. He is highly esteemed by all his church members and is an ordinary good speaker behind the pulpit. May his labors be crowned with success in the winning of souls for the Kingdom of Heaven. Their family consists of nine children, viz:"
