Notes  Solomon Gingerich, "was born March 13th, 1838. He resides on east half of lot No. 5, first concession, lower block, about one and a half miles east of Preston. On March 1st, 1864, he was married to Anna, daughter of Nicholas Cober. She was born May 18th, 1836. Their family consisted of nine children, of whom one died young, viz:"
