Notes  Adam Shupe, "was born July 29th, 1793, and was married to Mary Springer who was born June 16th, 1799, and died January 30th, 1888. They resided near Freeport, Ontario, for many years. When well advanced in age they made their home with Mrs. Levi Clemens who resided at Moline, Michigan, where they both died. His death took place November 29th, 1878. To them was born a family of eight children, viz:"
