Joseph Shoemaker, "was born January 12th, 1807. He never lived in Canada. After he left home he moved to Ohio, thence to Indiana, then, later on, to Albion, Marshal County, Iowa, where he is still living. On February 15th, 1831, he was married to Catharine Jantzen who was born January 25th, 1810, and died September 25th, 1866. They had a family of six children, viz:" |
