Notes  Ephraim C. Snyder, "was born August 19th, 1855. After leaving school he worked with the carpenters and builders for several years but after he was married he worked his father's farm for some time. On November 8th, 1887, he moved to Berlin where he was engaged in the grocery business until 1890 when he entered the printing business and is now foreman of The Berlin Publishing Company, Limited, Berlin, Ontario. Mr. Snyder is a gentleman of energy and perseverance and has a thorough knowledge of the business in which he is engaged and at present has seven skilled hands working under him. he is courteous and gentlemanly in bearing, and highly esteemed by all in the community. On march 16th, 1880, he was married to Maggie, daughter of Isaac R. and Catharine (Gehman) Culp. She was born near Jordan, Lincoln County, Ontario, June 20th, 1857. To them were born two children..."
