Notes  Isaac G. Stauffer, "was born September 28th, 1807. He was married to Jane Tieter who was born December 15th, 1812. They resided at Acton, Ontario, where he was engaged in farming. Some twenty years ago he disposed of his farm and moved near Gaines, Michigan, where both of them since died. He died December 25th, 1878, and she died August 9th, 1885. To them was born a large family. The names of children are as follows:...The named family all arrived at maturity save three, and are now very much scattered throughout Canada and the United States."
