Notes  Abraham Stauffer, "was married to Susannah Latschaw and resided near Strasburg, Ontario, where she died of hydrophobia, leaving a family of five children. After her decease he was married to Magdalena Shupe. Soon after his second marriage he moved to near Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he died in 1866, leaving the following family, namely: Isaac, Esther, Jacob, Mary and Susannah of first wife, and Samuel, George, Moses and Aaron of second wife. All of the last named family reside in Michigan."
