Notes  Andrew H. Groff, "was born near Galt, Ontario, July 26th, 1825. On May 30th, 1848, he was married to Mary Baumann who was born September 22nd, 1830. They reside on a beautiful farm about a mile north of the town of Waterloo. To them was born a family of nine children, viz:"
