Notes  Samuel B. Schneider, "was born October 9th, 1842. On September 26th, 1865, he was married to Rebecca Fried who was born February 27th, 1846. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Berlin, on his father's old homestead, where he was engaged in farming for a number of years. Of late years Mr. Schneider has disposed of the greater part of his farm forming part of the town, besides the numerous lawns, grounds, and two parks cut off on the west, thus leaving him in possession of but small part of the once large "Schneider Farm.".."
