Notes  George Histand, "the eldest in the family, was born November 1st, 1820, and was raised near Preston. On March 10th, 1844, he was married to Esther, daughter of John and Barbara (Groh) Scheirich. She was born May 18th, 1825. After their marriage they moved on her father's place two miles south of Berlin where she died February 18th, 1845. After his first wife's decease he was married to Veronica Scheirich, sister to his first wife. She was born November 6th, 1827, and died November 10th, 1848. After the decease of second wife he was married to another sister, Elizabeth Scheirich, widow of the late Jacob Bleam. She was born May 1st, 1816, and died December 17th, 1890. After her decease he was married to Magdalena Biehn, July 10th, 1892. She was born August 13th, 1841. They reside on his old place near Berlin. His family consisted of four children,.."
