Daniel Schlichter, "the eldest son of Henry and Barbara Schlichter, was born March 17th, 1812. He was married to Elizabeth, daughter of Peter and Veronica (Souder) Huber. She was born October 28th, 1811, and died July 19th, 1882. They resided in Blenheim Township, Oxford County, Ontario, about three miles south-west of New Dundee, where he died August 2nd, 1845.
