Notes  Jacob Bricker, " the old progenitor of whom all the Brickers in Canada and the United States are descendants, as stated before, was born in the year `685 and came to Lancaster County in 1718. In 1719 he was married to Catharine Mylin.‡ They resided in Warwick Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where they had a family of seven children, of whom two have been handed to the writer, namely: II Jacob, and II Peter. Of II Jacob's descendants nothing is known."
