Notes  Jacob Hagey, "youngest son of Andrew Hagey,(Hagey then spelled Hege) was born Saxony, Germany, in 1749. In 1767, when eighteen years of age, he emigrated to America and settled in Franconia Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Here he was married to Susannah Schwartz. They had a family of five children, namely.... The first Abraham died aged only a few days. Of Jacob we have some information. He was a clock-maker like his father, and sold his farm in Montgomery (Lower Salford) County, March 21st, 1828. He had a small family, the descendants of which are still in Montgomery County. Of Abraham nothing is known, quite likely his descendants are yet to be found in Montgomery County. Catharine was married to one named Eli Clemens. She never came to Canada."
