Simons S. Snyder, "was born march 31st, 1846. He is a chemist and druggist and is doing an extensive business in the town of Waterloo where he carries a complete line of drugs, chemicals, druggists' sundries and pharmaceutical preparations. The stock in trade is of excellent quality, nothing but first-class goods being kept. Mr. Snider is a gentleman of energy and sound business ability. Moreover he takes a great interest in the progress of the town of which has been councillor and reeve, and is now mayor for the second year. he is highly esteemed by the citizens of the town and surrounding country. On April 30th, 1872, he was married to Elizabeth Schnarr who was born March 29th, 1852, and died March 30th, 1890. After her decease he was again married to Matilda Roos, widow of the late Cyrus Bricker. .." |
