Notes  Jacob Miller, "a native of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, was born March 26th, 1777, and was married to Magdalena, youngest daughter of Peter and Mary (Bear) Bricker (No. 1322). She was born May 12th, 1775, and died in Woolwich Township, Waterloo County, Ontario, January 6th, 1853. He died October 26th 1853. They moved to Canada some seventy years ago and settled a little north of Waterloo, on the farm now possessed by Andrew Groff. To them were born five children, viz:"
