Notes  Edward Roat, "followed harness making for a number of years but owing to the small profits derived from the business, he quit harness making and commenced life as a commercial traveller. At present he is travelling for D. Hibner & Co., manufacturers of parlor furniture, etc. Mr Roat was first married to Maggie Wilson and after her decease to Hanna Master, widow of the late Jacob Levan. He resides in Berlin and has a family of several children."
