Notes  Benjamin Hammacher, "was born March 17th, 1809. He was married to Susannah Campbell in 1834. She was born August 8th, 1817, and died September 27th, 1853. They resided in Waterloo County, Ontario, near Doon, where he followed shoemaking. His death took place on June 12th, 1892. To them was born a family of eight children, viz:"
