Notes  Franklin Shuh, "was born in the town of Waterloo, June 26th, 1858. On January 10th, 1882, he was married to Catharine, daughter of Moses Shantz. She was born June 8th, 1863. Soon after his marriage he moved two miles north of the town of Waterloo, on the farm known as "Conrad Schmitt's Place" where he still resides. His family consists of four children, namely..."
