Curatorial Comments	Marg Rowell in Welcome to Waterloo notes: "Simon Snyder, Waterloo's first druggist, was also involved in the furniture business. In 1888 he combined with Henry Roos to take over the Reichert Furniture Company....In 1895, the Snyder and Roos Furniture and Upholstering Company became the first link in a chain of furniture factories to be named the Canada Furniture Company."
