Description	This illustration was taken from George Tremaine’s Map of Waterloo County. George Tremaine and Co. made many maps of the counties of Ontario. It is a lavishly illustrated wall map with many houses, businesses and village maps. The main feature is a map showing all the rivers, roads and land owners. Dated 1861 it is a wonderful and important artifact recording a time in Waterloo County. There is a very good preserved version displayed in the Grace Schmidt Room of the Kitchener Public Library.
