Description
A sepia-toned photograph of part of King Street East, Berlin (Kitchener), Ontario, with A.S. Hallman's grocery store at the far right of the photograph. The photograph shows a number of people, employees of Dietrich's Bakery, standing in a row along the street. The women on the balcony are believed to be Henry Dietrich's daughters. The businesses shown in the photograph were in business on King Street East from 1907 to 1910. They are H.C. Brechbill, 74 King St. E., milliner; M.C. Cressman, 82 King St. E., dry goods; H.A. Dietrich, 86 King St. E., baker; A.S. Hallman, 90 King St. E., grocer; and, A.L. Fischer, 98 King St. E., harnessmaker.
