There are four sash windows and two doors with dormers on the side, and three windows at the end with a smaller window above. The building is standing on a wooden platform with a set of steps in front of each door. Standing on the platform are fifteen men, a girl and a boy. There are small amounts of snow on the ground by the building. Hand printed in pencil on the bottom of the mat is "2nd MENNONITE CHURCH/ ERECTED ON THIS SITE/ 1834". The photograph mounted in an ivory coloured mat, and framed in a light brown wood frame. According to the original catalogue record, the men standing in front of the structure, from left are: 1 Moses Bowman, 9 Wendell Shantz, 13 Benjamin Shoemaker.
