Description	A long and narrow account book with blue marbled paper cover and black leather spine. A label on the front reads: Account book of Abraham Bowman, (Bauman) father of Miss Etta Bowman. Handwritten on the front endpage is: Book of Stock Invested in Taning by Abm Bauman, Baumans Tannery, Fountain Street, Preston, C. West From the 1st of January 1861 Abm Bauman Preston C West. The accounts date from 1861 to 1871. A receipt found inside the account book reads: Mr. Philip Imelin, Preston, February 9th 1872 bought of Abm. Bauman, Tanner and Manufacturer of Leather, Machine Belting and Leather Hose 1869 ....
