Description	Deed 2119 dated June 27, 1863 between Jacob E. Eby, Woolwich Township, yeoman; Nancy Eby, his wife; and, Benjamin D. Snyder, Woolwich Township, miller. Snyder paid $8,000 for Lots 7, 8, 9, 36 and 37 German Company Tract, Woolwich Township. The deed specifies the exception of part of Lot 8 known as The Distillery Property deeded by George W. Eby and wife to Henry Fletcher and Joseph Jackson on 21st March, 1857 (Memorial 767); also, parts of Lots 8 and 36 known as Woolen Factory Property. Deed 2119 includes the water rights on Lots 10, 37 and 39. The document was witnessed by John L. Wideman and J.W. Winkler. The deed was registered in the Registry Office of the County of Waterloo at Berlin the 30th day of March 1864 in Liber F5 folio 108 Number of Memorial 2119.

Snider bought a farm on the south side of the Conestogo River and in 1850 and 1851 built flour mill, sawmill, woolen mill, and dam. He sold out to his son Jacob on February 20, 1855. Other owners were H.F.J. Jackson 1856, George W. Eby 1857, and Jacob, Daniel, Peter and Martin Eby in 1860. Benjamin D. Snider became owner in 1863. He sold to E.W.B.
