Description	A two-volume first edition of Ezra Eby's genealogy and history of early Mennonite settlers to Waterloo County. Volume 1 was published in 1895 and Volume 2 in 1896. The book has a red cloth cover with red leather spine and corners embossed with gold. On the front cover is a picture of a team of four horses drawing a conestoga wagon and the caption "Jetzt gehn mir nach Canada." The endpages are blue marbled paper. The full title page reads: A Biographical History of Waterloo Township and other Townships of the County, being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin, as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character, by Ezra E. Eby. / Berlin Ontario Canada / 1895. The edges of the pages are gilded.
